About Evelyn Faith...

Baking since the age of 7, Evelyn has been impressing people of all ages with her talents for several years. She loves what she does and works diligently to improve her skills and create new recipes for her customers to enjoy.

Evelyn became the appointed Cookie Lady in her 4-H group (of which she was a member for almost eight years, only stepping back to focus on establishing her business) and donated many cakes and cookies to fundraisers on the group's behalf.

At Christ Church Westshore, where she has been active all of her life, she raised several hundred dollars to cover shipping costs for over 60 Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts by hosting a very successful bake sale.

In the Oberlin community where Evelyn and her family reside, she donated 17 dozen cookies to an Oberlin Athletic Boosters fundraiser in February 2024. They were devoured in a flash and the compliments were abundant. She delighted in supporting her older brothers' football and wrestling teams while they were involved in Oberlin Athletics. Go Phoenix! (Evelyn and her parents have strong ties to Avon Lake, too, as her father grew up there and he and her mother spent many Friday nights cheering for the Shoremen before and after Evelyn and her four siblings joined the family.)

It is only by God's gift of grace and the support of Evelyn's church family and loved ones that Faith Baked GOTG has become a reality. The encouragement and compliments this bashful girl has received bring joy to her heart and a blush to her cheeks. She is very thankful to have this opportunity and seeks to show others, "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!" (Psalm 34:8a)
